Call My Agent: Bollywood Review- Ayush Mehra Proves To Be A Treat To The Eye

| Published on November 6, 2021

Call my agent: Bollywood, an entertaining watch which recently came out on Netflix has been garnering much appeal amongst the youth with Ayush Mehra as a lead. The cast of Aahana Kumra, Radhika Seth, Rajat Kapoor and Soni Razdan has been storming the internet with their most recent release and fans are not able to get enough of it. And justifiably so!

This show, about talent agents in Mumbai who are trying to save their sinking company packs a punch with just the right level of celebrity drama and casting coup scenarios. A remake of the French show has been getting negative as well as positive sentiments from the audience and we are yet to decide on the kind of acclaim that the show is setting the stage up for.

The cast of the show has definitely outperformed themselves and shown us exactly what it means to deliver the punch. Quite the favorite, Ayush Mehra has been doing quite the rounds on the internet with his chocolate boy looks and being the quirky manager on show. Aahana Kumra and Soni Razdan have also put together a great show while Rajat plays quite the smooth operator.

The promotions for this show have been going rife and it’s safe to say that the power of social media triumphs all. Ayush Mehra has been quite engaging with his audience when it comes to the show promotions and every social media post is a treat to the eyes of his fans who cannot get enough of him.

Netflix India has also engaged in social media promotions that involve him and the in rather funky content formats. The promotions for the show have been done extensively and the audience base that it has been able to reach out to is quite commendable.

The show has established itself to lie between the categories of masala and what’s real out there, the kind of content that Netflix wants to promote. It’s safe to say that after shows like Kota Factory and Little things, Netflix’s most recent is an attempt at conveying something edgy and whack, a kind of set-up which otherwise hasn’t been advocated quite conventionally. The guest appearances by Dia Mirza, Lillete Dubey, Ila Arun and Richa Chadha also prove to be a treat in the show.

Call My Agent: Bollywood definitely sets its foot forward as one of the most cultivated and off the main-stream plotline. A fun and entertaining watch, this show is definitely one which has leaves us enthralled and wanting more. Catch the show on Netflix and tell us what you think!
