The Mumbai Police has been playing their cards right during the coronavirus pandemic. In a series of tweets every other day, they are warning people to stay safe from this deadly outbreak by staying at home, but through their own wit. How?

By playing a pun on ‘street’ and ‘stree (women)’, they cleverly tackled the idea of not venturing out and ensuring safety by staying home, not just for everyone but women in particular.
They also got a few cartoon and movie references to show you how staying safe at home was the best option during this time of crisis.

And of course, every Indian is impressed with their marketing team. It takes a good sense of humour combined with common sense to generate content that is #relatedAF and sends a message.
@shivaninambiar digital team of @MumbaiPolice is brilliant. Every latest tweet gets better than the last one.

Our fans are extremely witty, to say the least, and they never disappoint! Look how Twitterati replies with Harry Potter references as well.

Can’t wait to see what else the Mumbai Police’s social media team comes up within the remaining lockdown days. Hats off to their out-of-the-box thinking!
