Bengaluru saw the launch of its first-ever Robot Restaurant on 18 August. As per the restaurant owners, the branch was opened up in Bengaluru after its “resounding success” in Chennai and Coimbatore.
The restaurant is located on the 100-feet road in Indranagar and is open for lunch from 12 noon to 3 pm and from 7 pm to 11 pm for dinner.
At this quirky restaurant, Arya, Ramya, Zoey, Alice, and Sansa serve food while another robot welcomes guests at the entrance of the restaurant. The names might seem right out of a movie or a novel but they all belong to the robots who work there.
The humanoids were shipped in from China at a cost of around Rs 1.8 lakh each. They remain the biggest attraction for the kids as well as adults. The fascination is real for all.
