Arun Naikar has stepped down as chief of e-commerce at Fabindia, a role he held from August 2023 to July 2025. This was his second stint at the company. He continues to support the team in an advisory capacity.
Before this, he was vice president – ecommerce at Capillary Technologies from August 2020 to June 2023, where he managed global P&L along with tech, product, customer success, and sales.
He earlier served as head of e-commerce at Fabindia from July 2014 to August 2020, where he built the omnichannel ecosystem, integrated logistics and store systems, launched a custom kurta service, and managed the P&L.
From July 2009 to May 2014, Naikar was business head – eCommerce at Trent. He relaunched Landmark’s online store, enabled fulfillment from stores, launched ebooks and a reading app, and was part of TataCliq’s early team.
Between August 2007 and April 2009, he was business head – eCommerce at Sify Technologies, overseeing all functions from marketing and strategic alliances to operations and customer care.
He began his career in 1999 at Dishnet DSL Ltd, and later worked at eOfficePlanet India, managing national sales and operations for loyalty and gifting programmes.
