Apple Announces ‘Shot On iPhone’ Challenge 2022 Making Way For Creativity

Apple has become one of the leading names in the smartphone industry. The iPhones have become a symbol of luxury and excellence globally. Along with a pricy tag, these smartphones come with a camera quality like no other.

The company has been developing this external feature rigorously and has made it a USP. To market its phone’s camera quality, Apple has taken a very creative initiative that has kept people plugged in.

Apple invited iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max users to send their best macro photography entries for the competition. The applicants can participate on Instagram and Twitter using the hashtags #ShotoniPhone and #iPhonemacrochallenge. The challenge began on 25 Jan’22 and will run through February 16, 2022, at 11:59 pm PST.

A panel of judges from the industry and Apple will select 10 winning photos from the sent entries. The winning photos will be showcased in the gallery on Apple Newsroom, apple.com, Apple Instagram (@apple), and other official Apple accounts. Winners will be notified on or close to April 12, 2022.

The tech giant said that it may also use the winning entries for digital campaigns, Apple Store locations, billboards, or in a public photo exhibition, reported TOI.

The company has marked the ‘Shot On iPhone‘ phrase pretty well. Many leading celebs have shot their projects on iPhone and garnered a lot of attention worldwide.

From Selena Gomez’s song ‘Lose you To Love Me’, to The Chinese New Year advent for the year, the list of projects shot on iPhone is very elite.

The company had also launched its Experiments series that aimed at educating people about all the magic they can do with their iPhones.

Apple’s Experiments series creates immersive, dazzling worlds, all Shot on iPhone. The videos simply show what all is possible with an iPhone, simple materials, and boundless creativity.
