Aparajita Puri has joined Microsoft as Managing Director – Strategic Pursuits Team (SPT), India & South Asia. It’s a new role in the India leadership team to help shape and scale large scale enterprise transformations.
She has shared this career move through a LinkedIn update, where she has reflected on her transition from consulting to a leadership role in technology, marking the beginning of a new chapter after an extended tenure at McKinsey & Company.
Prior to this, Puri has spent over 11 years at McKinsey and Company, most recently serving as Partner from November 2021 to March 2026. She has earlier held the role of Associate Partner between April 2019 and October 2021, based in New Delhi, followed by her tenure as Engagement Manager from October 2017 to March 2019 in the Greater Delhi Area. She has also worked as an Associate from May 2016 to September 2017 and began her journey at the firm as a Junior Associate from September 2014 to April 2016.
