Anuj Gandhi has been appointed Chief Business Officer – Digital Entertainment at Reliance Jio. In this role, Gandhi is managing platforms including JioTV and JioTV+, leading OS strategy for Jio TeleOS across planning, growth and execution, and overseeing end-to-end content planning, acquisition and strategic partnerships. He is also leading a cross-functional organisation spanning commercial, product, sales and delivery functions.

Prior to this, Gandhi served as Founder & CEO at Streambox Media from April 2024 to February 2026 for 1 year and 11 months. The company focused on the connected TV ecosystem in India, working across content discovery and user experience in home entertainment.
Between July 2022 and October 2024, Gandhi was Founder at Plug and Play Entertainment P for 2 years and 4 months, a media tech start-up offering connected TV experiences across devices, mobile and web. During a similar period, from January 2022 to October 2024, he also worked as Consultant and Start Up Mentor for 2 years and 10 months.
Earlier, Gandhi was Head of Partnerships – Cable Business at Reliance Jio from July 2019 to January 2022 for 2 years and 7 months.
From March 2012 to January 2022, spanning 9 years and 11 months, Gandhi served as Group CEO at Indiacast Media Distribution, where he headed the content monetisation business for Network18/Viacom18 Group companies. During this period, he also handled content acquisition and alliances at Jio Media.
Prior to that, Gandhi was CEO at DEN Networks from September 2007 to March 2010 for 2 years and 7 months, where he set up the company as founder CEO.
He earlier served as President at MSM Discovery from August 2002 to August 2007 for 5 years and 1 month, where he established a media aggregation business in India.
