Anil Pandit has been elevated to Managing Partner – Data Strategy and Partnerships at Publicis Media India, a newly created role that signals the agency’s growing investment in data-led transformation, privacy-safe partnerships, and trust-driven innovation.
He announced the same via a LinkedIn post.
Pandit will continue in his existing position as Executive Vice President – Head of Programmatic, Data & Tech, India, a role he has held since March 2024. Prior to this, he served as Senior Vice President – Programmatic from April 2019 to February 2024, where he played a key role in scaling programmatic adoption and building addressable media solutions for Publicis clients.
He joined Publicis Media from Omnicom Media Group, where he spent nearly four years across multiple leadership roles. He was Vice President – Programmatic and Lead, Accuen India from July 2016 to March 2019, and earlier, AVP – Digital and Mobility Services from May 2015 to June 2016.
Between January 2013 and May 2015, Pandit was General Manager – Business Development, Programmatic at MicroAd India, where he helped build the company’s programmatic and adtech footprint in India.
He previously held senior digital marketing roles at People Interactive, where he served as Branch Head – Digital/Online Acquisition and Retention from May 2009 to January 2013, and at Apnapaisa, where he was Head – Digital Business, North India between January 2007 and May 2009. He also worked at India Today as Assistant Manager – New Initiatives from January 2006 to January 2007, and began his career at The Times of India as Senior Officer from January 2002 to January 2006.
