It is quite compelling to see how the world unites to help people. Another miraculous discovery took place when the Internet was able to find Abid Khan, a former boxer from North India who now drives an auto to sustain his living. A video was circulated around the internet where netizens discussed how Indian sportsmen were neglected after their careers were over.

And do watch it, we need to strengthen YouTube channel Sports Gaon to bring more such stories.. Thanks pic.twitter.com/hHjhTtW5W9— Saurabh Duggal (@duggal_saurabh) April 14, 2021
It was in the 1980s when he coached the boxing team for 5 years. He was a representative of the Punjab University and was also a student of the National University of Sports, Patiala. In the video that was shared by a number of netizens, Khan mentions how he faced a financial crunch and was forced to take up minute jobs to survive. He has been struggling for quite some time and had discouraged his children to join the sports fraternity as well, after being treated poorly by the Indian community. He does want to go back to coaching again.
This is when Anand Mahindra, the Chairman of CEO of Mahindra & Mahindra stepped in. He claims that he is pleased to see Khan not begging for a handbook. Mahindra is someone who has invested in people, time and again, depending on their talents, and he would be pleased to do the same for Khan.
Thank you Saurabh, for telling us Abid’s story. I especially appreciate his not looking for a handout. In any case I prefer investing in people’s talents & passion rather than offer charity. Please let me know how I can invest and support his ‘startup’ boxing academy… https://t.co/409LslAvHu

And here’s how netizens reacted. It is astounding to see how help comes through and in the quickest possible time.
I really appreciate your idea of INVESTING in people's talent Sir 😊👍
It not only keeps their pride intact (essential for any talented person) …it also makes them feel great to be a working partner of a billionaire 😀
