Anand Mahindra has always been a voracious supporter of art and talent. Not the one to refrain from praising and encouraging local talent in the country, this time an artist has caught his eye, and he is all out there in support of her.
Noorjahan is not your ordinary artist. She can draw 15 portraits simultaneously. And this is no ordinary feat!
A video featuring her work has gone viral and garnered over 88,000 views on Twitter. And she has found a clear fan in the head honcho of Mahindra & Mahindra. In fact, he is so awed by her; he’s addressed her as a miracle and is willing to offer her a scholarship too.
How is this even possible?? Clearly, she’s a talented artist. But to paint 15 portraits at once is more than art—it’s a miracle! Anyone located near her who can confirm this feat? If valid, she must be encouraged & I’d be pleased to provide a scholarship & other forms of support. pic.twitter.com/5fha3TneJi

The video features Noorjahan creating her makeshift tool- a frame made out of wood to hold pens, by placing wooden logs vertically and horizontally and tying them up. After attaching blue and red coloured pens, she goes on to create 15 portraits at the same time.
The portrait features images of noteworthy and illustrious leaders of our country like Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Bhagat Singh, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, and Subash Chandra Bose among others, with the minutest detail created with perfection.
Talking about this art that she perfected in a YouTube video, she spoke about how she liked to draw as a child and wanted to do something for her country. Over the years she figured out how to draw 15 portraits, all at once using a few sticks, pens, and some tape.
Though many have found this interesting and are enamored by the art, some aren’t exactly convinced about this.

Amazing idea, executed to perfection….the craft demands much more than visualisation, planning, precision and practise…
If valid, she deserves alot… commendable indeed

This is real but also a trick . The artist tilts the frame to do one portion at a time. It’s very laborious and time consuming. There are 3-4 portrait versions available on YouTube and you can spot this there clearly if you pay close attention to the time lapse videos.

While art and talent know no boundaries, promoters like Anand Mahindra do go a long way in getting them recognized.
