Anand Mahindra does it all over again and Twitter can’t stop praising him!
It was only a few months back when Mahindra had shared pictures of a meeting room during the KCMET scholarship selections on Twitter when Twitterati pointed out the plastic water bottles on the table and suggested the business tycoon to go eco-friendly.
The K.C.M.E.T scholarship selections are amongst the most energising engagements in my calendar. The incredible intelligence & self-belief displayed by these youngsters is staggering. All concerns about the future are shoved aside by the optimism these young people inspire pic.twitter.com/WYUd2IHwwU

The suggestion was not only taken into serious consideration by the Chairman of Mahindra & Mahindra but he also promised to banish the plastic bottles saying, “Yes, plastic bottles will be banished. We were all embarrassed to see them that day.”

His recent tweet only proves that Mahindra is a man of his word.
Mahindra tweeted a picture of reusable steel and copper bottles and shared that the same will be used in the meeting rooms at the Mahindra Group.
He wrote, “Our in-house ‘Mahindra retail synergies group’ has come up with these re-fillable bottles to replace plastic bottles In our meeting rooms entirely. Functional but also aesthetic, I think.. Dhanyavaad Team!”

This is how Twitterati reacted:

At the @tech_mahindra annual award function #TechMStarAwards we gave away this Message in a bottle.
This glass bottle is our answer to saying NO to single-use plastic, and hopefully promoting adequate daily consumption of water 🙂 pic.twitter.com/yJE13aS1y2

Great initiative again. M&M has been a leader in many areas but a copper water bottle has been on my table for quite sometime now! pic.twitter.com/WTqwbzshl8
