Amit Gujral has decided to part ways as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at JK Tyre & Industries.
As per reports, he has moved on from this role after a stint of five years. Further, in his tenure he led the charge for the company’s “JK Tyre Desh Ka Tyre – Jab Hindustan Mile Hindustan Se” campaign.
In his position as CMO at JK Tyre & Industries, he was responsible for steering product management. Moreover, he led the establishment of the e-Commerce platforms, enhancing the company’s digital presence and expanding sales channels, among other things.
Before this, he served as CMO at LG Electronics from October 2009 to November 2019. He oversaw corporate communications, including public relations, brand marketing communication, and product marketing.
In addition, Gujral implemented integrated marketing campaigns to maximise reach and engagement and directed CSR initiatives to enhance brand reputation and foster community engagement.
Earlier, at LG Soft India he was R&D Business Unit Head- 3G Devices from June 2003 to October 2009. In this capacity, he oversaw projects from conception to delivery and drove revenue and related forecasting through information gathered from sales and cross-functional teams.
