IPG Mediabrands India has undergone a major leadership restructuring, appointing Amardeep Singh as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and elevating longtime CEO Shashi Sinha to the position of Executive Chairman.
The dual leadership structure, set to continue for the next three years, is being positioned as a stability-driven approach aimed at steering the agency toward sustained growth amid a rapidly evolving digital and consolidated market landscape.
With a decades-long career, Sinha remains one of the most enduring figures in Indian advertising, having dedicated the bulk of his professional journey to the Interpublic Group (IPG) network.
Singh co-founded Interactive Avenues in 2006 and has dedicated over 19 years to the company, which was acquired by IPG Mediabrands in 2013.
In the past, he was associated with Mediaturf Worldwide, Rediff.com, India Today and Bennett Coleman and Co. (Times Group).
