Amagi has announced the availability of its In-Content Ads offering through Amagi ADS PLUS marketplace, expanding its capabilities for advertisers looking to drive incremental impact beyond traditional ad pods at a programmatic scale. The offering is now immediately available across hundreds of streaming channels spanning premium news, sports and entertainment content.
Powered by THUNDERSTORM, Amagi’s server-side ad insertion (SSAI) and dynamic ad stitching platform, the In-Content Ads solution has already been deployed across premium streaming environments for over a year. With this latest expansion, Amagi is now streamlining programmatic access to the offering through Amagi ADS PLUS.
The solution enables advertisers to access ad formats stitched directly into linear video content in real time, helping improve campaign performance while allowing seamless activation across the broader streaming ecosystem through Amagi’s technology infrastructure.
At launch, the available ad formats include overlays, squeezebacks and picture-in-picture (PIP) ads. These high-impact formats are designed to complement existing mid-roll campaigns while offering advertisers additional performance opportunities.
For content owners and streaming platforms, the solution creates new monetization avenues by increasing ad revenue without extending ad pod duration or disrupting viewer experience. The marketplace expansion is also supported by participation from multiple ad platforms and advertisers, including Olyzon, described as the agentic decisioning layer for CTV.
