Airtel Money, the NBFC arm of Bharti Airtel, has appointed Abhay Agarwal as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Agarwal took to LinkedIn to announce the new role.
Agarwal has been associated with Bharti Airtel for over eight years, progressing through multiple finance leadership roles. Most recently, he served as AVP – Finance Head, Digital Businesses and Financial Services from December 2025 to April 2026. Prior to that, he was Financial Controller – Airtel Digital from March 2025 to December 2025.
Earlier, he held the position of Head BPA, Delhi Circle (General Manager) between February 2024 and March 2025. Before that, he was Deputy General Manager – FP&A Consolidation from December 2023 to February 2024, following a stint as Senior Manager – FP&A Consolidation from December 2021 to December 2023.
He also served as Manager – Internal Controls & Compliance from December 2019 to December 2021, after beginning in the function as Assistant Manager – Internal Controls & Compliance between June 2019 and December 2019.
Agarwal started his journey at Bharti Airtel as a Young Leader – Management Trainee (Finance), a role he held from June 2018 to May 2019, before taking on progressively senior finance responsibilities across the organisation.
