Meta’s ‘Following’ Tab On Threads App: A Step-By-Step Guide

In the ever-evolving world of social media, Meta, formerly known as Facebook, continues to introduce new features to enhance user experiences. One of its latest additions is the ‘Following’ tab on the Threads app, aimed at providing users with a more personalized and streamlined content viewing experience.

In response to a user’s request for this feature, Zuckerberg expressed his willingness to fulfill users’ demands, stating, “Ask and you shall receive.” Additionally, he shared the news on Instagram, informing users that Threads now offers an option for a chronological feed, exclusively showcasing posts from people they follow.

The ‘Following’ tab, a much-requested feature, enables Threads users to view posts from people they follow in a chronological order. This means users can now easily keep track of updates from their favorite creators, friends, and influencers without missing a beat.

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to use the ‘Following’ tab on the Threads app:

1. Update Your App

Ensure that you have the latest version of the Threads app installed on your Android or iOS device. If you haven’t updated the app recently, head to the app store and download the latest version to access the new feature.

2. Open Threads App

Launch the Threads app on your device. Upon opening the app, you will be directed to the default “For You” tab, which displays a mix of content based on your interests and activity.

3. Tap on Home Icon or Threads Logo

To switch to the ‘Following’ tab, tap on the home icon located at the bottom left corner of the app. Alternatively, tap on the Threads logo at the top of the app interface. This action will redirect you to the ‘Following’ tab, where you can explore content exclusively from the people you follow.

4. Explore Chronological Content

In the ‘Following’ tab, you will find posts from the accounts you follow in chronological order. This means you can stay up-to-date with the latest updates and posts from your favorite content creators and connections as they happen.

5. Enjoy a Personalized Experience

The ‘Following’ tab offers a more personalized and focused content feed, allowing you to engage with the content that matters most to you.
