Dieunerst Collin, Popeye’s Meme Kid, Features In A Super Bowl Ad Promoting Free Fries.

The new Popeyes Super Bowl ad which airs 10 years after Dieunerst Collin originally became popular in the fast-food business, has Dieunerst Collin stating, “You might know me, I used to be that meme kid.”

Dieunerst In 2013, when he was just 9 years old, Collin was mistaken for viral sensation Lil Terio after he was seen standing in a line at a Popeyes restaurant. Collin earned the moniker “Popeyes Meme Kid” because of the viral success of his side-eye expressions.

Following the recent signing of a NIL sponsorship with Popeyes, Collin, now 18 years old, is making news once more. According to PEOPLE, the fried chicken franchise hired the college football star for a Super Bowl advertisement that will be broadcast before the big game on Sunday.

When it comes to their commercials, businesses go all out for the Super Bowl.

This year’s big game 30-second time spot costs $7 million, so businesses are investing a lot and expecting their advertisements to be seen as they planned.

Popeye’s is using the viral meme in their greatest campaign because it is one of their largest claims to fame.

“You might know me, I used to be that meme kid. And now, I’m in Popeyes’ big game ad,” says Collin in the clip. “It’s got all of those things those ads have, like a nice ride. Electric, of course. It’s got puppies. And it’s even got my own celebrity meal offer.”

Many of them allude to circumstances when individuals experience uncertainty or awkwardness, such as the one you just saw.

It’s reasonable to assume that Collin found the humour in it. He maintained his composure in the face of his celebrity, nevertheless.

In reality, Collin developed into a superb player and his New Jersey “East Orange Campus High School “team won the state football title in 2021.

And his future looks more promising by the minute as he tweeted a screenshot of his popular meme earlier this year combined with a new image of him performing the side-eye gesture while clutching the state championship title.

Appearing next to a massive mansion as well as a Tesla, he continues to add: “It’s got all of those things those ads have, like a nice ride. Electric, of course.”

The nicest part, though, is when he enters the house and meets a litter of gorgeous pups.

Popeyes Rewards members who spend over $20 on each order will receive 400 additional points as part of Collin’s Side-Eye on Fries & Pies, which they can use to purchase fries or a pie on their subsequent order. According to a statement, this promotion is accessible through the Popeyes website and app through February 12.

However, we are only there to support Collin as well as the puppies. Hats off to him for securing the relationship and maximizing his online notoriety.

Thankfully, Collin appears to have benefited from it. He declared in the release that “A lot can happen with the power of the internet behind you!” he said in the release. “I can’t believe I can say I’m officially sponsored by Popeyes. Thank you to everyone who helped spread the good word!”
