While we’re at out 9-5 jobs waiting for our salaries to get credited so we can buy a dress or go out for a fancy dinner, a six year old South Korean kid influencer Boram has bought a £6.4 million skyscraper in Seoul and it can’t get any crazier!
The little internet star has her own 2 Youtube channels with a combined 30 million subscribers. Her Boram Tube Vlog which has 17.5 subscribers focuses on Boram’s life giving glimpses into what she does day to day while her Boram Tube ToyReview which has 13.6 million subscribers is a toy critique channel.
Boram who makes about £2.5 million from her Youtube channels purchased this building located in the popular Gangnam suburb and was built in 1975 and sits on a 258.3 sq m plot. While the reasons for the buy are still unknown, it was published that she bought the high rise her parents through the Boram Family company.
It was in 2017 when Save The Children’s local chapter raised concerns over the child star’s channel and went to the court claiming Boram’s parents were ‘gaining financial profit by putting the children in situations that could put them under mental distress and distributing the footage to the public, with a negative influence on underage viewers who watch the clips.
There were further questions raised over whether clips of her pretending to give birth and steal from her father’s wallet were suitable for her young fan base which led to the relevant episodes being made private, with her parent’s apologising.
