IBM has appointed Tuhina Pandey as Vice President, Marketing for Asia Pacific. In her new role, she has been responsible for driving the company’s regional marketing strategy, orchestrating IBM’s capabilities to address client challenges, and working closely with partners and business leaders to scale impact across the Asia Pacific region.
Pandey has shared the appointment through an update on LinkedIn, where she reflected on her transition from her previous responsibilities in India and South Asia and expressed her enthusiasm for working with IBM’s marketing and business leadership teams across the region.
Prior to this appointment, Pandey has spent over six years at IBM in multiple leadership roles. Since April 2025, she has served as Director – APAC Communications and CMO, India and South Asia. Before that, she has been CMO and Director – Marketing and Communications, IBM India and South Asia from January 2023 onwards, following her tenure as Communications Leader – IBM India and South Asia from April 2020 to January 2023.
Before joining IBM, Pandey has worked at Tech Mahindra for over five years. She has served as Head – Global Corporate Communications and Public Affairs from 2018 to April 2020 while also holding the position of Regional Sales Manager, BI and Analytics – Europe from December 2014 to April 2020. During this period, she has worked across corporate communications, public affairs, business intelligence and analytics.
Earlier, she has founded and curated tuCom, where she served from August 2017 to January 2018. She has also held the position of Vice President at Ananto from January 2013 to August 2017 and simultaneously served as Vice President at Media Training Worldwide from January 2011 to August 2017, focusing on leadership communication, media training, executive presence, marketing communications and storytelling.
Pandey has also built an extensive career in journalism. She has worked as Associate Editor at Aegis Ltd from November 2010 to December 2012, where she managed the company’s internal television network and audiovisual communication initiatives. Prior to that, she has spent more than five years at NDTV as Associate Editor – Technology from June 2005 to October 2010, where she edited technology news, reported stories, moderated chat shows and anchored business and technology programmes. Her professional experience has spanned business journalism, corporate communications, digital communications, media training, leadership communication, business intelligence and analytics consulting.
