Afzal Khan has moved on from Times Network, concluding a long and significant association with the media organisation during which he played an instrumental role in expanding its digital business and strengthening its revenue ecosystem.
Over the course of his tenure, Khan held several leadership responsibilities across digital monetisation, strategic partnerships, branded solutions and business development. He was closely involved in shaping the network’s digital growth strategy, particularly during the period following the group’s restructuring.
In his most recent role as Head – Digital IP & Government Business, Khan was responsible for building and scaling the network’s Digital IP business. Under his leadership, the vertical evolved into a significant experiential and revenue-generating business for the organisation.
During nearly two and a half years in the role, he conceptualised, launched and expanded 50+ Digital IPs across national, regional and city-level markets. These initiatives helped strengthen Times Network’s presence in the brand experience ecosystem by creating platforms that brought together content, digital innovation, audience engagement and brand storytelling.
Khan also led the network’s government business initiatives, focusing on integrated digital-first solutions and strategic partnerships tailored to evolving communication requirements.
Recognised for his entrepreneurial approach and execution capabilities, Khan leaves behind a notable legacy of building and scaling new business verticals and contributing to the diversification of Times Network’s digital offerings.
