Maggi has issued an official statement rejecting allegations circulating on social media regarding the alleged presence of infestation in its noodles. The company has stated that the claims have been based on an unverified account.
Nestlé India has said that it has not yet received the complaint sample from the complainant as the account remains unreachable. The company has added that a detailed representation, supported by relevant facts, quality records from batch and market samples, and test reports, has already been submitted to the competent authorities.
The company has stated that it has maintained stringent quality and food safety standards across its manufacturing operations. It has further said that it has remained fully transparent with the authorities and is confident that the facts and evidence will conclusively establish the truth of the matter.
Nestlé India has also stated that it has conducted quality analysis on batch and market samples as part of a comprehensive investigation. According to the company, samples have been tested by an FSSAI-accredited laboratory, and the report has confirmed compliance with quality standards, including the absence of infestation of any nature.
The statement follows allegations shared on social media claiming the presence of infestation in MAGGI noodles. Nestlé India has maintained that its internal quality records, market sample assessments and laboratory test reports support its position and have been submitted to the relevant authorities for review.
