SML Mahindra has announced that Dr. Venkataraman Srinivas will cease to serve as Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the company with effect from the close of June 30, 2026. The decision has been approved by the Board of Directors based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
The company has stated that Srinivas has stepped down from the role due to his transition to a new position within the Mahindra Group. Consequently, he has also ceased to be a Director and Key Managerial Personnel of the company under the Companies Act, 2013 and SEBI Listing Regulations from the same date.
SML Mahindra has further announced that Vinod Kumar Sahay, Executive Chairman of the company, will take on additional responsibilities with effect from July 1, 2026, until a new Chief Executive Officer is appointed.
