Instamart has promoted Dhanya Hemanth Raj to the role of Director, Marketing. The elevation was announced via Raj’s LinkedIn post.
Prior to her elevation, Raj served as General Manager, Marketing at Instamart from September 2023 to March 2026, where she played a key role in shaping the brand’s marketing strategy during a period of rapid expansion in the quick commerce sector.
Before joining Instamart, she was Head of Brand Marketing at TenderCuts from May 2021 to September 2023, leading the company’s brand and consumer initiatives. She also worked at Licious as Brand Manager from August 2019 to May 2021, helping strengthen the direct-to-consumer meat brand’s positioning in an increasingly competitive market.
Earlier in her career, Raj served as Brand Planning Director at MullenLowe Lintas Group from October 2017 to August 2019. She was Senior Brand Strategy Manager, with a focus on digital, at R K SWAMY BBDO between October 2015 and September 2017.
She began building her expertise in consumer insights and analytics at Converseon, where she worked as Lead Market Research Analyst, focusing on social listening and consumer insights for Johnson & Johnson, from February 2014 to October 2015.
