Elon Musk has said that X Money, the payments and financial services feature of X (formerly Twitter), will launch in early public access next month.
Musk has shared the update in a post on X, indicating that the platform’s long-anticipated payments service is moving closer to rollout. The feature has been expected to integrate peer-to-peer payments and other financial tools within the social media platform.

The development marked a significant step in Musk’s broader plan to transform X into an “everything app” that combines social media, communication, and financial services. Since acquiring the platform in 2022, Musk has repeatedly outlined ambitions to introduce payments and banking-style capabilities directly within the app.
X has been working toward securing regulatory approvals and building the infrastructure required to enable digital payments across markets. The launch of early public access has signalled the beginning of user testing before a wider rollout.
