Podcaster and entrepreneur Raj Shamani has approached the Delhi High Court seeking protection of his personality rights. The case has been scheduled to be heard by Justice Manmeet Pritam Singh Arora on November 17.
As per media reports, Shamani has filed the suit through advocate Nakul Gandhi of NG Law Chambers and has sought the removal of AI-generated content along with an injunction against social media channels and websites using his name, persona and other attributes without consent.
He has also sought relief against John Doe (unnamed defendants) and has sought protection of his registered trademarks and copyrighted content.

The Delhi High Court has earlier passed directions protecting the personality rights of actors such as Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Bachchan, Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff, journalists including Rajat Sharma, and spiritual leaders Sri Sri Ravishankar and Jaggi Vasudev.
