Shhri Ram has joined The Printers Mysore, publisher of Deccan Herald and Prajavani, as Head – Brand Marketing & Events. In his new role, he will oversee brand initiatives and event strategy for the group.
He announced this move via a Linkedin post.
Prior to this, he served as Director – Brand Marketing at Colors Kannada from 2024 to 2025, where he led marketing strategy and brand development. Before that, he was Director – Brand & Content Marketing at Viacom18 Media from 2022 to 2024, handling campaigns for Colors Kannada, Colors Kannada Cinema, and Colors Super.

From 2021 to 2022, he was Senior Brand Marketing Manager at Associated Broadcasting Co. (TV9), focusing on brand solutions, activation, and digital strategy.
Earlier, he worked as a Senior Brand Manager at Zee Entertainment Enterprises from 2015 to 2021, driving brand marketing and audience engagement initiatives.
Between 2014 and 2015, he was Manager – Marketing and Activation at Radio Mirchi, following a stint with Brigade Hospitality in 2014 in event and entertainment management. He began his career with Red FM in 2012 as Activation and Radio Producer and has also independently handled event and marketing projects across media, corporate, and entertainment sectors.
