Allana Pet Solutions (APS), the pet food division of Allana Consumer Products has teamed with Indian cricketer Shubman Gill as the brand ambassador for Bowlers, its main dog nutrition brand. The collaboration links a top-performing athlete with a brand focused on science-based, premium pet nutrition, marking a key point in Bowlers’ efforts to transform India’s pet nutrition landscape.

In response to the growing demand for quality pet care, Bowlers and Shubman Gill aim to inspire pet parents to make informed nutritional choices and ensure that trusted, high-quality, and affordable food is accessible across India. As a young leader in Indian cricket, Gill represents performance, discipline, and excellence values that align with Bowlers’ focus on providing trusted, science-backed, and high-quality balanced nutrition for dogs in India.

Since its inception, Bowlers has been recognized for creating engaging and fun initiatives that resonate with pet parents, such as the Instagram contest #TasteThatMakesYourDogFly, which gained strong online attention. Building on this, the new association will roll out a coordinated mix of digital initiatives, regional outreach, and on-ground consumer activations, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to trusted, science-backed, and affordable dog nutrition across all social channels.

The Bowlers portfolio brings together a comprehensive range of high-quality, specialized nutrition products  from dry and wet food formulated for puppies, adults, and large breeds, to high-protein jerky treats and meat bars designed for training and rewarding. The association with Shubman Gill marks a pivotal next phase for Bowlers, one focused on scaling nationwide reach, deepening awareness, and building enduring trust with India’s rapidly growing community of pet parents.

Purrfeto, APS’s cat nutrition brand, complements Bowlers and strengthens its position as a holistic pet nutrition provider. With production at PLC automated pet food plant in Zaheerabad, Telangana, both brands manage the entire value chain from sourcing to packaging to ensure quality, consistency, and safety. Their R&D-led formulations, developed with veterinary nutritionists, are designed for India’s climate and the changing needs of pets. Backed by Allana’s global expertise, the Pet Solutions segment recently crossed Rs. 200 crore in revenue according to the brand reflecting strong growth and an expanding presence in both domestic and global pet food markets.

The brand itself embodies the spirit of an all-star pet sports team, where Shubman represents excellence, performance, and commitment. “Beyond enhancing brand visibility, this collaboration will enable us to educate pet owners on the importance of complete and balanced nutrition, strengthen engagement through targeted campaigns and activations, and reinforce our long-term growth strategy in both urban and emerging markets,” Kulkarni adds further.
