Ankit Rihal has been elevated to the role of Head- Global Partnerships, India at Meta. In his new role, Rihal will focus on driving strategic collaborations and further building Meta’s partnership ecosystem in the Indian market.
He announced the development through a LinkedIn post.
Rihal has been associated with Meta for over nine years, taking on various leadership roles within the partnerships division. Most recently, he served as the Head of Public Figures and (Established) Creator Partnerships from April 2022 to July 2025. Prior to that, he was the Lead for Entertainment Partnerships in India between April 2021 and April 2022. He also contributed to the Entertainment Partnerships division from July 2016 to April 2022.
Before joining Meta, Rihal held leadership positions at Vuclip as Director of Product Management from February 2013 to July 2016 and was Manager- Digital and New Media at Sony Entertainment Television from September 2010 to February 2013.
He began his career at Jump Games, Reliance BIG Entertainment, where he worked for nearly three years from December 2007 till October 2010 as Manager- Partner Alliances.
