Tonic Worldwide, the Mumbai-based independent digital agency founded by the Asher brothers- Samir and Chetan Asher in 2007, has appointed Viacom18’s Nishant Gopalia as its new Senior Vice President- Media and MarTech.
He will be based out of the agency’s Mumbai office in this role.
Joining Tonic with over 18 years of experience in the digital media landscape, Gopalia has a proven track record of working with both agencies and brands like Tata Communications, Mindshare India, Performics, Disney Star, Wavemaker, Hungama Digital Services, Dentsu Webchutney, etc. where he honed his expertise across a diverse range of sectors, including Entertainment, OTT, FMCG, Banking and D2C categories.
That said, in his most recent role with Viacom18, he led the digital media unit for their sports vertical- managing media campaigns for some of their iconic sports events like FIFA World Cup, IPL, BCCI Cricket tournaments.
