Samsung Leaks Galaxy Watch On Its Own Site- A Genuine Mistake Or A Well Planned Marketing Gimmick?

Well, we all know that today brands go any length to promote their products and keep the buzz going. Negative publicity is also sometimes considered as part of promotion because it at least gets people talking about it.

In recent news, it was found that Samsung has already listed its new galaxy watch under the old list of available models, though the two new models are to be launched on 24th of August. On the website a rose gold model of the watch was seen listed alongside other models and the description matched the technical details shared by Samsung earlier.

A good observation was that looks almost similar like the Samsung Gear S2 Classic. It still has the two buttons on the side and display doesn’t seem to have any new tech. So now the time will tell if this was the actual watch after all, or are the previous watches being rebranded or was it a technical glitch of the website? Whatever may be the reason, it did get people curious and talking about it, which indicates the marketing purpose being served, now who knows if that was the only intention
