Philip Eapen, The Man Behind MRF’s ‘Muscleman’ Campaign Passes Away At 86

MRF’s ‘Muscleman’ Campaign Innovator and senior advisor Philip Eapen passed away at the age of 86. He was associated with MRF for nearly 66 years and held several leadership roles during his stint at the company.

Philip Eapen, The Man Behind MRF’s ‘Muscleman’ Campaign Passes Away At 86

Philip Eapen, MRF’s ‘Muscleman’ Campaign Innovator and senior advisor, passed away at the age of 86 on July 7 in Chennai.

Born on September 4, 1937, in Kerela’s Thiruvalla, Eapen was associated with MRF for nearly 66 years and held various positions before being appointed as Senior Advisor in 2007.

Previously, served the role of executive director of marketing and also as director for MRF International and MRF Corporation.

In a print media obituary, MRF honored Eapen, stating, “MRF proudly remembers a remarkable man for his 66-year tenure and his extraordinary contributions to the growth and success of MRF Tyres. A man of immense experience and wisdom, he will forever be our guiding light.”
