With everything gone digital, the era of magazines has faded away now. Movie producers now use digital and online platforms to announce a new movie or launch a poster for their upcoming project.

However, there was once a time when a filmy magazine was one of the sort after channels to promote something.  Here are some of the most iconic magazine covers that are still engraved in our minds.

1. Mandakini Iconic Waterfall Shot

Raj Kapoor’s ‘Ram Teri Ganga Maili’ received a lot of applause not just for its bold storyline but for the actress in the lead, Mandakini. The actress’ shot in the movie under the waterfall in all white became a sensation and still is the most iconic magazine cover.

2. Rekha’s Supreme Era

Legendary actress Rekha’s beauty and acting talent have still had no match. Earlier in the 80s and the 90s, Rekha Ji was seen on almost every other entertainment magazine. This poster had everyone talking for the actress’ flawless beauty and grace.

3. Amitabh Bachchan & Anil Kapoor as the coolest Mafias ever

CineBlitz featured Anil Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan in their 37th anniversary of the magazine. Their classy look with suits, hats, cigars, and a luxury car in the backdrop was a visual delight.

4. Saif’s Candid Picture

For a cover in the 90s, Saif was seen being candid for a cover where he was in his bathroom wearing a comfy robe and shaving cream on.

5. The Double Trouble

It has always been a rare image to see the Khans together. In the late 90s, this iconic imgae was a people’s favourite as it had two of the leading Khans on the front cover.

6. The ‘Mohabbatein‘ Vibes

In the year 2000, the Indian cinema was fortunate enough to see the most loved actors paired together for one of the most loved movies to date. Mohabbatein is an every 90s kid favorite and having Shahrukh Khan & Aishwarya Rai Bachchan on the cover of the Filmfare magazine was treat to all.

7. The Bold and Beautiful

The late 90s Stardust cover had the two most beautiful actresses of the era, Urmila and Juhi, who were setting the cover on fire with the sensational photoshoot.

8. Andaaz Apna Apna Duo

Amir Khan & Salman Khan received a lot of applause for their movie together ‘Andaaz Apna Apna’. This magazine cover was again a very popular one as their chemistry was loved by all.

9. Daredevil of the Industry

Akshay Kumar has always been known as the daredevil of the industry with his thrilling stunts and fighting scenes. It the Filmfare cover, Akki was sure to flaunt his daring side.

10. Mrs. & Mr. Khiladi

A picture that made the headlines with the power couple on as the front cover of the magazine was none other than Twinkle Khanna & Akshay Kumar.
