Zepto seems to have cracked something that’s been annoying everyone, those sneaky extra charges. The quick-commerce platform has removed all additional delivery and handling fees, and honestly, it now feels like you’re just stepping out to buy something from your local shop. No delivery fee. No “platform charge.” No “handling cost.” Just what you see- and what you pay.
Compare that to others like Swiggy Instamart, Blinkit, or Flipkart Minutes- they may promise free delivery above Rs 99 or Rs 199, but there’s almost always something extra added at checkout. Zepto, on the other hand, has gone all in on transparency, becoming the first Q-commerce platform in India to truly go charge-free.
And that’s not all. The brand has quietly rolled out Zepto Pharmacy, teaming up with well-known names like OZiva, Cipla Health Ltd, Nutriburst, and Sun Pharma. So, along with your groceries and snacks, you can now get your wellness essentials in the same 10-minute promise.
For foodies, Zepto Café still offers free delivery above Rs 99, the only extra is a small Rs 5.20 GST, which is a government tax. Blinkit’s Bistro, which delivers meals in 10 minutes, charges around Rs 9 as a convenience fee, still fair, but Zepto’s clean, no-surprise pricing definitely stands out.
At a time when every app seems to be adding one fee or another, Zepto’s ‘no extra charge’ move feels refreshingly simple, and just the kind of thing that wins over customers who are tired of fine print.
