In the most recent move, India banned a number of Chinese apps, most of which were popular and frequently used by several Indian users. SHEIN, TikTok, Cam Scanner and UC Browser were some of them. This was carried out by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, under Section 69A. The popular app TikTok made this statement on their official Twitter page as well.
