Yatin Gupta has joined Cheil India as Associate Vice President, where he has taken on the responsibility of strengthening the agency’s account management mandate while driving integrated brand, content and digital-led solutions for clients. In his new role, Gupta has been overseeing strategic planning, client partnerships, project management and cross-functional collaboration, with a focus on social media, influencer marketing, content marketing and emerging areas such as generative engine optimisation.

Prior to joining Cheil India, Gupta has most recently served as Senior Vice President – Account Management at BBH India from January 2025 to December 2025. At BBH India, he has led integrated marketing mandates across advertising, ATL, BTL and digital, while managing senior client relationships and business delivery. Before this, he has worked as a Brand Marketing Consultant on a freelance basis between September 2023 and January 2025, during which he has consulted on large-scale brand and launch assignments, including Oaksmith Nagomi for Suntory Global Spirits India, and handled responsibilities spanning film production, content development and business management.
Between December 2023 and August 2024, Gupta has also worked as a Creative Consultant with Punt Creative, where he has advised brands on digital communication strategy, creative services and business development. Earlier in 2023, he held senior leadership roles at Dentsu Webchutney, serving as Senior Vice President – Account Management from April 2023 to August 2023 and Vice President – Account Management from January 2023 to March 2023. During his tenure at Webchutney, he has managed large, multi-city business portfolios and marquee brands such as Google, YouTube, LinkedIn, Uber, Airtel, Tanishq, Flipkart and adidas, while also leading analytics-driven strategic interventions.
Gupta’s career has also included a stint at Dabur India as Digital Marketing Lead – Home and Personal Care from April 2021 to September 2021, where he has been responsible for digital strategy and operations across categories including oral care, hair care, skin care and home care. Prior to this, he has spent over three years at Leo, holding roles such as Associate Vice President – Digital from November 2019 to April 2021 and Program Head – Digital from March 2018 to November 2019, leading digital transformation projects, P&L management and multi-market client mandates for brands including Philip Morris International, Airtel, SpiceJet and Motorola.
Earlier in his career, Gupta has headed digital strategy for Kia Motors India at INNOCEAN Worldwide from August 2017 to March 2018, served as Account Director – Digital at Leo Burnett between October 2014 and July 2017, and held leadership roles at WhiteBalance and as an independent consultant across digital, social media and brand communication projects. He began his professional journey in event management and motorsports, working with Western Motorsports between September 2008 and January 2011.
With his extensive experience across agencies, consulting and client-side roles, Gupta’s appointment is expected to further strengthen Cheil India’s strategic and account management capabilities.
