WPP Appoints Devika Bulchandani As COO, Laurent Ezekiel As Global CEO Of Ogilvy & Executive Sponsor For WPP Open X

WPP today announces a series of strategic global leadership appointments. Devika Bulchandani has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of WPP, Laurent Ezekiel has been appointed Global CEO of Ogilvy Group and Executive Sponsor for WPP Open X, and Floriane Tripolino has been appointed CEO of WPP Open X, WPP’s agency team dedicated to The Coca-Cola Company.

As Chief Operating Officer, Devika Bulchandani will be responsible for commercialising services and solutions across WPP, working with WPP agencies, overseeing Country Managers, global growth teams, and Global Client Leaders.

Since Devika took the helm as Global CEO of Ogilvy, she has strengthened and modernised the agency’s core capabilities and diversified its client roster over four years. During her tenure, Ogilvy became the first agency network to be named both the Most Creative and Most Effective in the world for three consecutive years on WARC’s Creative 100 and Effective 100 rankings (2023–2025). Throughout this period, Ogilvy delivered creative solutions addressing complex business challenges.

Laurent Ezekiel will oversee the Ogilvy Group’s global business, including advertising, PR, social & influence, customer engagement, consulting, and health. The network includes DAVID, INGO, NCA, Thjnk, Village Marketing, and Grey, which joined Ogilvy in May 2025.

Laurent most recently served as CEO of WPP Open X for The Coca-Cola Company, managing the largest global marketing agency partnership in the industry. WPP Open X integrates creative, media, social, influencer, commerce, PR, data, and technology into a marketing ecosystem covering more than 200 brands in 195 countries. Under Laurent’s direction, WPP Open X developed and scaled solutions such as Studio X and leveraged collective agency resources to make Coca-Cola Brand of the Year at the 2024 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.

In her role as CEO of WPP Open X, Floriane Tripolino will continue the work established in 2021, scaling solutions such as Studio X and using data and AI to enhance consumer engagement. This follows The Coca-Cola Company’s renewal of its global marketing partnership with WPP Open X in May 2025.

During her four years leading the Nestlé account, Floriane expanded WPP’s media footprint with the brand, introduced new capabilities including WPP Open, and positioned WPP as Nestlé’s largest marketing services partner.
