The first World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES) is set to take place in Mumbai from May 1 to May 4, 2025, at Jio World Convention Centre and Jio World Gardens,
Union Information and Broadcasting Minister, Ashwini Vaishnaw said.
Taking to Twitter, he wrote, “This summit will bring together the world’s top media CEOs, biggest entertainment icons, and creative minds from across the globe—unifying entertainment, creativity, and culture like never before.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday wrapped up a comprehensive meeting with the Advisory Board of WAVES, a global summit uniting the worlds of entertainment, creativity, and culture.
The board, comprising distinguished figures from various fields, reaffirmed their support and offered insightful recommendations to strengthen the government’s initiatives in positioning India as a global entertainment powerhouse.
