Warner Bros. Discovery has announced its Summer 2026 programming slate for POGO, Cartoon Network and Discovery Kids with the launch of two original Indian animated shows — ‘Sampat Champat’ and ‘Kian & Kiki’. The company has said the slate includes over 200 new episodes across its kids’ entertainment channels.
‘Sampat Champat’ has premiered on POGO and has adapted the comic characters from Lotpot Comics into an animated series focused on the adventures of the two thieves. The show has explored themes of comedy and small-town life through slapstick storytelling.
On Cartoon Network, ‘Kian & Kiki’ has launched as a new animated franchise created in partnership with Cosmos Maya and Fable Spinners Studio. The series has centred around a family of magicians and has combined fantasy, comedy and sibling-driven storytelling.
The two new shows have also started streaming on discovery+.
The company has also expanded its existing franchise programming on POGO by bringing together characters from ‘Chhota Bheem’ and ‘Little Singham’ into a shared animated universe. POGO has additionally started celebrations around Chhota Bheem’s 18th anniversary with telefeatures and ‘Origin of Bheem’ specials from May 3.
Cartoon Network has continued its comedy-focused programming block ‘Boom Bam Comedy Jam’ with new seasons of ‘Teen Titans Go!’ and ‘Batwheels’. The network has also added international animated shows including ‘Baby Lemmings’, ‘The Weasy Family’ and ‘Maca and Roni’ for Indian audiences.
Discovery Kids has continued airing new episodes of ‘Titto’ alongside ‘Mr. Bean’ as part of its summer programming lineup.
The network has also announced on-ground summer campaigns including ‘POGO Ke Dhurandhar’, ‘CN Boom Bam Comedy Jam’ and ‘Nonstop Badmaashi, Nonstop Bawaal’. These activations have been planned across more than 20 malls and at BOUNCE locations in Mumbai, Bengaluru and Gurugram. The campaigns have included mascot appearances featuring characters such as Chhota Bheem, Little Singham, and Tom & Jerry.
The company has further expanded its summer engagement through social media activities, influencer-led campaigns, contests and user-generated content initiatives across POGO, Cartoon Network and Discovery Kids platforms.
“At Warner Bros. Discovery, we don’t just make shows — we build worlds. With Sampat Champat on POGO and Kian & Kiki on Cartoon Network, we are investing in original Indian IP with franchise-led thinking at its core. Every character, every story we build is designed to travel — beyond television and beyond borders. For our fans, the summer is just the trailer for what’s coming the rest of the year — a reinvention of how we think about kids’ content in India, rooted in homegrown talent and creativity, but designed for the world.”- Sai Abishek
“POGO, Cartoon Network, and Discovery Kids each represent a distinct world, but together they serve one unified mission of providing kids with a compelling entertainment slate to enjoy and have fun with.” – Abishek
