Warner Bros. Discovery has announced the names and senior leadership teams for its two companies ahead of the planned separation in mid‑2026.
The streaming and studios division, which will include Warner Bros. Television, Warner Bros. Motion Picture Group, DC Studios, HBO, HBO Max, Warner Bros. Gaming Studios and the company’s film and television libraries, will be named Warner Bros., honouring a legacy of more than a hundred years of storytelling.
The global networks division, which includes CNN, TNT Sports in the US, Discovery Channel, top free‑to‑air channels across Europe, Discovery+, and Bleacher Report, will be named Discovery Global. This division currently delivers content to 1.1 billion viewers across 200 countries in 68 languages.
David Zaslav, who currently leads Warner Bros. Discovery, will serve as President and CEO of Warner Bros. The leadership team includes Pam Abdy, Priya Aiyar, Casey Bloys, Bruce Campbell, Mike De Luca, Channing Dungey, Robert Gibbs, James Gunn, Lori Locke, JB Perrette, Peter Safran and Avi Saxena.
Discovery Global will be led by Gunnar Wiedenfels as President and CEO. The team includes David Duvall, Amy Girdwood, Ryan Gould, Anil Jhingan, Kasia Kieli, Fernando Medin, Scott Miller, Fulvia Nicoli, Brian Rauch, Luis Silberwasser, Mark Thompson, Sue Underwald, Bobby Voltaggio, Fraser Woodford and Gerhard Zeiler.
According to the company, Warner Bros. is currently recruiting for the Chief Financial Officer and Chief People and Culture Officer roles. Discovery Global is in the process of hiring a Chief Communications and Public Affairs Officer.
