After serving the position of VP- Client Partner (Google INSEA) at Essence (now EssenceMediacom) for the past more than two years, Vinish Mathews has rejoined WPP and GroupM’s other media services company- Mindshare as its new Chief Strategy Officer.
In his new role at Mindshare, Mathews will be responsible for providing strategic insight, driving innovation, and delivering growth for teams and businesses and help strengthen the agency’s product and strategy capabilities.
Prior to joining Essence (now EssenceMediacom) in February 2022, he was associated with Mindshare for over eleven-and-a-half years. He was the Managing Director at Mindshare China from December 2018 to January 2022.
Before that, he served the role of Principal Partner- Client Leadership, Team Unilever, at Mindshare India from September 2014 to December 2018.
Mathews joined Mindshare as Partner and Senior Director- Client Leadership in June 2010.
Apart from his long-standing association with Mindshare, he also worked as Associate Media Director at The Media Edge, Rediffusion Y&R, from November 2004 to May 2010.
In the past, he was also associated with The New Indian Express for close to one-and-a-half years.
