A Glimpse Into Vicky Kaushal's Brand Endorsement Journey As He Turns 36

Born on May 16, 1988, Vicky Kaushal, a Bollywood sensation acclaimed for his versatile acting prowess, captivating performances, and notable roles in films like ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’, ‘Raazi’, ‘Masaan’, ‘Sanju’, ‘Manmarziyaan’, ‘Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship’, ‘Takht’, ‘Sam Bahadur’ and many others, celebrates his 36th birthday today.

While Kaushal made his debut in ‘Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana’ in 2012, his breakthrough came three years later with the critically acclaimed film ‘Masaan’ in 2015. Since then, he has captivated audiences with his performances in a diverse range of roles, solidifying his position as a versatile actor in the industry.

Besides his acting career, Kaushal has also become a sought-after choice for brands, showcasing his influence and appeal beyond the silver screen. As he turns 36 today, Marketing Mind has curated a list of some of the many brands that he has endorsed in the past.

Visa

Recently, Visa unveiled its ‘Pay Safe Everyday with Visa’ campaign with Kaushal as its brand ambassador. This marks his second collaboration with the brand.

The ad, conceptualised by Leo Burnett, opens with the actor and his colleagues realising it’s their boss’ birthday. One of his co-workers seems hesitant to buy a ‘best boss’ t-shirt for their boss online as she’s worried about it leading to a loss. Kaushal reassures her by emphasising there is no scope for loss with Visa as “When paying with a Visa card, merchants will get a token and not your card details”.

Birla White

For one of the TVC campaigns, conceptualised by the Grey group and Birla White, the company had roped in the Uri star as its brand ambassador. The campaign was titled ‘Birla White Ka White Cement Advantage’.

Zomato

In an ad film for Zomato, the actor was seen as their ‘notifications commander’ in ‘Sam Bahadur’ style as he embodied the commanding nature of his character. Throughout the ad, he was seen crafting various notifications for the app.

Beardo

The film aims to inspire every man to identify and use the strength within themselves . In the ad, Kaushal is seen overcoming his timid personality to release his inner masculinity after using the perfume.

Pearson India

Being the brand ambassador of Pearson India, Kaushal was featured in their first digital brand film, based on the core theme of ‘Preparation’. Kaushal took on the role of an actor, where he can be seen talking about his greatest strength as an actor which is ‘Preparation’. The brand film has been conceptualised by the creative agency Bang In The Middle.

Charged by Thums Up

In an ad for Charged by Thums Up, the actor was shown dancing around and then he goes to a grocery store and says “Pass me the charger” while referring to Charged by Thums Up. After that, he is handed the drink, grabs it, and starts drinking.

Google India

Google Pixel launched its ad featuring Kaushal and his brother Sunny Kaushal to promote their ‘advanced’ chip on the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro with a packet of chips. The ad has been conceptualised by Talented.

Havells

In 2022, Havells announced its digital campaign, titled #StopMeriGroomingPeAssuming featuring Kaushal alongside Shraddha Kapoor. The campaign has been conceptualised by 82.5 Communications and focussed on personal grooming, self-worth and social validation.

Reliance Trends

In 2019, Reliance Trends rolled out a Diwali campaign featuring titled #TaiyyarForTyohaar. The ad showcased all the Diwali collections from Trends.

Macho Sporto

BOULT Audio

In an ad by BOULT Audio, featuring Kaushal is seen working out while attending office calls with his Boult EarPods on as soon as he sets up his meeting for the day, his mother calls him saying she will meet him which results in him cancelling all his meetings.

Apart from these brands, Kaushal has also endorsed other brands such as Red Chief, Goibibo, McDowell, Oppo, upGrad, Wildstone, Housing.com and more.

Adobe Partners Runway To Integrate Gen-4.5 AI Video Model Into Firefly Multi-year partnership has brought Runway’s generative video models into Adobe Firefly, with Adobe becoming Runway’s preferred API creativity partner Adobe has entered into a multi-year strategic partnership with Runway to integrate generative AI video capabilities into its creative ecosystem. The collaboration has brought Runway’s video models into Adobe’s tools to support AI-driven video workflows for creators, studios, media companies, brands and enterprises. As part of the partnership, Adobe has become Runway’s preferred API creativity partner and has offered its users early access to Runway’s latest video models. Runway’s Gen-4.5 model has become available in the Adobe Firefly app for a limited period, ahead of a broader public release. The two companies have collaborated to develop AI capabilities tailored for professional video workflows, which have been made available exclusively within Adobe applications, beginning with Adobe Firefly. Adobe Firefly users have gained the ability to generate video using text prompts, experiment with pacing, motion and visual styles, and then refine outputs using Adobe’s video editing tools. Adobe has integrated Runway’s Gen-4.5 into Firefly’s workflow, enabling creators to move generated clips into applications such as Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects for further editing and control. The companies have stated that Firefly customers will continue to receive early access to future Runway model releases through Adobe’s platform. Adobe and Runway have also worked with filmmakers, studios, agencies, streaming platforms and brands to co-develop new video capabilities within Adobe’s creative tools. The collaboration has focused on making generative video a consistent part of professional creative workflows. Runway’s Gen-4.5 has been made available in the Adobe Firefly app and on Runway’s own platform. Adobe Firefly Pro subscribers have been given unlimited generations until December 22. “As AI transforms video production, pros are turning to Adobe’s creative ecosystem – from Firefly to Premiere to After Effects – to imagine, craft and scale their stories across every screen,” said Ely Greenfield, chief technology officer and senior vice president, digital media, Adobe. “Runway’s generative video innovation combined with Adobe’s trusted pro workflows will help creators and brands expand their creative potential and meet the growing demands of modern content and media production.” “We’re building AI tools that are redefining creativity, storytelling and entertainment, with Gen-4.5 as the latest example,” said Cristóbal Valenzuela, co-founder and CEO, Runway. “This partnership puts our latest generative video technology in front of more storytellers, inside Adobe’s creative tools that are already the industry standard for many creators around the world.”
