Varun Koorichh has been appointed as the Vice President, Marketing- Portfolio Head, Premium and Luxury at DIAGEO India. In his new role, he will be responsible for driving the marketing strategy, innovation, and growth of Diageo’s premium and luxury brands portfolio in India. Koorichh will also oversee brand positioning and consumer engagement initiatives aimed at strengthening the company’s foothold in the high-end spirits segment.
He has shared the update on LinkedIn, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his professional journey with the beverage giant.
Prior to this, Koorichh has served as Vice President, Marketing – Category Head IMFL Brands at Diageo from August 2023 to September 2025. Before joining Diageo, he spent over 15 years at PepsiCo, holding multiple leadership roles across geographies. From January 2022 to July 2023, he served as Marketing Director – Global Customers in Texas, United States, and before that as Marketing Director – Global Flavours in Dublin, Ireland, from September 2019 to December 2021.
Earlier in his tenure with PepsiCo, Koorichh worked in New York as Global Senior Brand Manager for Mountain Dew from May 2017 to August 2019 and as Senior Brand Manager for the same brand in Gurugram from July 2014 to April 2017. Between January 2012 and June 2014, he was the General Manager for Indian Premier League and Music Platforms, and before that, he began his journey at PepsiCo as a Territory Development Manager in Jalandhar, Punjab, from July 2009 to December 2011.
