Here are the top advertisers in the 42nd week of the year.
According to the Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC), the six top positions showed no change, with every brand continuing its reign on the very spot for two consecutive weeks.
Hindustan Unilever Ltd. stayed put at the top with the rise in ad volumes from 4949.32 (‘000) secs to 5289.04 (‘000) secs.
Reckitt Benckiser Group followed on the 2nd spot with a drop in ad volumes from 4621.95 (‘000 secs) to 4500.39 (‘000 secs) and Coca-Cola India Ltd. continued at the 3rd spot with the rise in ad volumes from 1502.65 (‘000 secs) to 1590.29 (‘000 secs).
Godrej Group kept its 4th spot with a drop in ad volumes from 1383.27 (‘000 secs) to 1292.94 (‘000 secs) followed closely by Procter and Gamble at 5th spot with a drop in ad volumes from 1166.9 (‘000 secs) to 922.14 (‘000 secs).
Cadburys India Ltd. too continued at the 6th spot with a drop in ad volumes from 1032.5 (‘000 secs) to 834.97 (‘000 secs).
Movements were seen from the seventh position, where Reliance Industries Ltd (G) moved one spot up with a rise in ad volumes from 496.72 (‘000 secs) to 549.52 (‘000 secs).
Tata (G) dropped down by a spot standing 8th on the list, with a drop in ad volumes from 581.24 (‘000 secs) to 537.32 (‘000 secs).
Pepsi Foods (G) held on to its 9th spot with the rise in ad volumes from 456.43 (‘000 secs) to 478.32 (‘000 secs) and Marico Ltd. was a new entrant in the tenth position on the chart with ad volumes of 413.64 (‘000 secs).
Top Brands
Coca-Cola reclaimed the top spot with a drop in ad volumes from 563.99 (‘000 secs) to 517.38 (‘000 secs), after being in the third spot last week.
It is followed by Dettol Antiseptic Liquid which also moved two spots to the top with a drop in ad volumes from 502.5 (‘000 secs) to 499.0 (‘000 secs).
Harpic Power Plus 10X Max Clean was listed as the third top brand, after a week of being the top brand, with a drop in ad volumes from 596.08 (‘000 secs) to 485.22 (‘000 secs).
Lizol All in One, came in 4th with a drop in ad volumes from 587.81 (‘000 secs) to 478.95 (‘000 secs). Also, Harpic Bathroom Cleaner held onto its 5th spot with the rise in ad volumes from 461.61 (‘000 secs) to 462.07 (‘000 secs).
PhonePe entered the chart with ad volumes of 387.53 (‘000 secs) claiming the sixth position.

Maaza with 307.06 (‘000 secs) was the seventh top brand. Lalithaa Jewellery closed in at the 8th spot with a drop in ad volumes from 287.67 (‘000 secs) to 281.62 (‘000 secs).
Another new entrant Colgate Dental Cream claimed the 9th spot with volumes of 245.66 (‘000 secs). Vanish Oxi Action after a drop by one spot, was judged the tenth top brand with 245.55 (‘000 secs).
