Earlier this month, the entertainment website IMDb announced the list of the most popular Indian actors of 2022. The results were based on the actual page views of the more than 200 million monthly visitors to IMDb.

As per the report, Dhanush was the most popular actor in 2022. Here are the top 10 most popular actors in India in 2022.

1. Dhanush

Dhanush, who is a popular actor in the Indian film industry, made his Hollywood debut with The Gray Man. The actor also received a lot of praise for his work in  Thiruchitrambalam, Naane Varuvean, and Maaran.

2. Alia Bhatt

Alia Bhatt received a lot of applause for her work in Gangubai Kathiawadi, RRR, Darlings, and Brahmastra Part One: Shiva this year.

3. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starred in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan: Part I as Nandini which was a treat for her fans. People loved watching her on the big screen making her the third most popular actor this year.

4. Ram Charan

Ram Charan has always topped the charts when it comes to popularity amongst his fans. S.S. Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR which was released this year added to the excitement.

5. Samantha Ruth Prabhu

Samantha Ruth Prabhu starred in The Family Man season 2 last year which marked a turning point in her acting career. She received a lot of appreciation for her role and has since been in the limelight. In 2022, she debuted in Koffee With Karan and people loved watching her be open about her personal life.

6. Hrithik Roshan

Hrithik Roshan starred in Vikram Vedha this year which garnered a lot of applause for his role. He is one of the most popular actors in India and has millions of fans across the globe.

7. Kiara Advani

After starring in this year’s hits, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Jugjugg Jeeyo, Kiara Advani received a Filmfare nomination for Best Actress for her 2021 hit Shershaah this year.

8. N.T. Rama Rao Jr

Jr NTR starred along with Ram Charan S.S. Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR this year. The duo acting in a movie together was all the buzz amongst the fans in 2022.

9. Allu Arjun

Allu Arjun is one iconic actor who will forever be on the most popular list in India. His blockbuster release last year ‘Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1’, was one of the most talked about movies in the country in 2022.

10. Yash

After the blockbuster release of ‘K.G.F: Chapter 1’ in 2018, Yash’s much anticipated ‘K.G.F: Chapter 2’ was released in 2022 making him one of the most popular actors in India this year.

Mother Dairy is targeting a 20% increase in revenue to over Rs 24,000 crore in FY27, backed by rising consumer demand and plans to expand into new markets, according to media reports. As per media reports, the dairy major recorded a turnover of Rs 20,300 crore in FY26, up 17% year-on-year. The company has more than doubled its revenue over the last five years, crossing the Rs 20,000-crore milestone. As part of its growth strategy, Mother Dairy is looking to strengthen its presence outside Delhi-NCR. Chairman Meenesh Shah said the company is exploring entry into new markets where it currently has limited or no presence. The company is also setting up a dairy plant in Maharashtra, has leased a facility in Hyderabad, and is establishing a second plant in Bihar. Managing Director Jayateertha Chary said sales in the first two months of the fiscal have been encouraging, with ice cream emerging as a strong-performing category. Reports also suggest that from Mother Dairy’s FY26 turnover, the dairy business contributed more than Rs 15,000 crore, while edible oils and horticulture accounted for around Rs 5,000 crore. Around 63% of revenue came from Delhi-NCR, with the remainder generated from other parts of the country. The company currently reaches more than 95 cities across India and operates nine milk processing plants, four horticulture processing plants and 16 associated edible oil facilities.
