Top 10 Brands & Advertisers Of Week 38 of 2021: BARC

Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India is a Joint Industry Body founded by stakeholder bodies that represent Broadcasters, Advertisers, and Advertising and Media Agencies.

BARC India is also the largest measurement company of its kind in the world with a panel size of 180,000 individuals.

The brand has released its report of top brands, advertisers and channels for the 38th week of 2021.

Top 10 Advertisers of Week 38 2021

As per BARC’s report, Hindustan Lever Ltd led the charts in Barc week 38 (between 18 and 24 September). The FMCG brand recorded total ad volume of 5097.68 (‘000s).

Reckitt Benckiser India Ltd stood second at 3912.86 (‘000s). Moving a step above was Brooke Bond Lipton India Ltd at the third place which replaced Cadbury India Ltd this week. The brand registering ad volume of 966.61(‘000s).

The only non-FMCG brand to make the top 10 list was Amazon Online India Pvt Ltd standing at the fifth spot with an ad volume of 876.72(‘000s).

ITC Ltd., Colgate Palmolive India LTD, Coca Coal India LTD, Godrej Consumer Products Ltd, and Ponds India presented in the same order with an ad volume of 633.72 (‘000s), 526.58 (‘000s), 455.96 (‘000s), 435.57 (‘000s), and 433.95 (‘000s) respectively.

Top 10 Brands of Week 28 2021

With the festive season around the corner, Amazon.in has had an extensive advertisement plan rolled out. This has awarded the brand the first spot on the list with an ad volume of 651.5 (‘000s).

Following Amazon’s lead was Horlicks this week with a total of 457.3 (‘000s) ad volume whereas Dettol Toilet Soaps took the third spot.

Disney+Hotstar has been rolling out a lot of ads bringing it up by two spots this week. The brand reported an ad volume of 373.64 (‘000s) putting it on the fourth position.

Dettol took the fifth spot this week with 339.5 (‘000s) ad volume.

Lizol, Dettol Antiseptic Liquid, Harpic Power Plus, Moov Gel, Move Pain Balm took the remaining five spots respectively.
