Top 10 Advertisers & Brands For 45th Week Of 2022: BARC

Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India is a Joint Industry Body founded by stakeholder bodies that represent Broadcasters, Advertisers, and Advertising and Media Agencies.

Built upon a robust and future-ready technology backbone, BARC India owns and manages a transparent, accurate, and inclusive TV audience measurement system.

With a panel size of 180,000 individuals, BARC India is also the largest measurement company of its kind in the world. The body has recently released the list of top advertisers, brands, and channels across genres for the 45th week of 2022 (5 November 2022 To 11 November 2022)

Top 10 Advertisers Group

Taking the first spot, Reckitt Benckiser Group witnessed a rise in ad volumes from 4386.51 (‘000 secs) to 5660.52 (‘000 secs) while Hindustan Unilever Ltd. dropped one spot down and took the 2nd position with a drop in ad volumes from 6400.76 (‘000) secs to 5174.22 (‘000) secs.

Godrej Group saw a massive rise in its ad volume from 689.61 (‘000 secs) to 1605.86 (‘000 secs) which made it jump from the sixth spot to the third place this week.

Procter and Gamble was in 4th position this week after witnessing a rise in ad volumes from 1236.58 (‘000 secs) to 1275.57 (‘000 secs).

Making it to the top 5 spots, Cadburys India Ltd. saw a rise in ad volumes from 715.52 (‘000 secs) to 980.69 (‘000 secs) this week.

ITC Ltd., Colgate Palmolive India Ltd., Coca-Cola India Ltd., GlaxoSmithKline Group, and Marico Ltd. took the remaining five spots with an ad volume of 670.94 (‘000 secs), 463.51 (‘000 secs), 445.19 (‘000 secs), 421.55 (‘000 secs), and 386.18 (‘000 secs) respectively.

Top 10 Brands

Dettol Antiseptic Liquid maintained its lead this week with an ad volume of 672.68 (‘000 secs). Harpic Power Plus 10X Max Clean stood at the 2nd spot with the rise in ad volumes from 483.57 (‘000 secs) to 620.16 (‘000 secs).

Lizol all in 1 was at the 3rd spot with an ad volume of 600.94 (‘000 secs). Harpic Bathroom Cleaner and Dettol Toilet Soaps took the fourth and fifth spots respectively.

Vanish Oxi Action saw a massive improvement and jumped straight up from the 10th spot in the previous week to 6th spot with rise in ad volumes from 226.04 (‘000 secs) to 301.73 (‘000 secs). debuted this week and stood at the 7th spot with an ad volume of 278.9 (‘000 secs). Mortein Insta with 275.97 (‘000 secs), D2H with 274.08 (‘000 secs), and Ultratech Cement with 271.58 (‘000 secs) took the 8th 9th, and 10th spot respectively.
