Sushant Sreeram has stepped down from his role as Country Director for Prime Video India. He had been promoted to this position in February 2023, succeeding Gaurav Gandhi, who was elevated to Vice President of Asia Pacific at Prime Video, effective April 2023.
Sreeram had a tenure with Prime Video that spanned over six years. He joined the company in 2018 as Head – Customer and Brand Marketing, Prime Video. Later, he was elevated to Director – Marketing, Prime Video, a role he served from October 2020 to December 2021.
As per media reports Sreeram is poised to take on the role of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at JioCinema.
Before joining Prime Video, Sreeram served as Head of Marketing, India at Xiaomi from 2015 to 2018. Between November 2012 and June 2015, he was associated with HolidayIQ.com as Head of Marketing.
Before that, he worked with eBay for over four years. He joined the company as Manager – Strategy and Category Management in July 2008. He then got elevated to Head – Global EasyBuy, a role he served from March 2010 to December 2010. In January 2011, he was promoted to Head – Acquisition Marketing.
