ONDC has announced the appointment of Sunil Singhi, Chairman of the National Traders’ Welfare Board, as an Independent Director on its Board.
The announcement was made via a LinkedIn post by the organisation.
ONDC described Singhi as a distinguished leader in public welfare, governance, and social equity, bringing decades of experience through grassroots initiatives and policy advisory roles.
His addition to the board, ONDC said, reinforces its commitment to the Government of India’s vision of “Digital Commerce for All.” The post further stated that with his guidance, ONDC aims to continue building a digital commerce network that is inclusive, transparent, and accessible, catering to everyone from small sellers to consumers in remote regions.
“We extend a warm welcome to Shri Sunil Singhi ji and look forward to his valuable leadership in this journey of national transformation,” ONDC wrote in the post.
