Shoppers Stop has elevated Kavindra Mishra from Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to the position of Managing Director (MD) and CEO.

In a regulatory filing, the company said that his appointment is made for a period of three years effective from April 29, 2024, subject to shareholders approval.

Mishra joined the company in March 2023 as Customer Care Association and Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) – External Brands and CEO, Home Stop.

Before joining this company, he was associated with House of Anita Dongre as CEO from April 2019 to December 2019 and was then elevated to the role of MD and CEO.

Earlier, he also worked with Pepe Jeans London in various roles. He joined the company in July 2013 as MD and CEO – India and in March 2017, he was elevated to the position of MD – India; Business Development Director – Asia Pacific. Later, he served as Business Development Director Hackett from September 2017 to April 2019.

He was also the President and Co-founder of Zovi.com between July 2011 and June 2013. Besides these company, Mishra was associated with United Colors of Benetton, Tommy Hilfiger, Nokia India, Madura Garments, Cadbury India and Madura Coats.
