Jiten Mahendra has been appointed as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Customer Care Associate at Shoppers Stop. Previously, he was associated with Ample as CMO from September 2023 to July 2024.
Before this, Mahendra served as Vice President and Head of Marketing for BYJU’s BTC from May 2022 to September 2023. In this capacity, he was responsible for the growth marketing strategy for the platform’s tuition centres.
In his tenure with Landmark Group for over a decade he served in different positions. He joined the company in March 2010 as Vice President, he was promoted to Senior Vice President Marketing in July 2019 and continued till May 2022.
Prior to this, he was the Brand Manager for Mahindra and Mahindra from August 2007 to February 2010. Before that, he worked with Kansai Nerolac Paints in the same role from January 2006 to August 2007.
In the past, he was the Brand Manager for Zydus Cadila from November 2002 to December 2005. He played an active role in launching the portfolio for the ‘EverYuth’ range of products.
From February 2001 to November 2002, Mahendra was the Brand Assistant for Unilever. In this role, he led the execution of projects like ‘Touch of Gold Contest’ and ‘Dream World Offer’ across the talc market.
